Having set up and run Keep Governance and Safeguarding from a single, part-time person consultancy to an organisation providing consultancy to large organisations, including the Premier League and businesses and safeguarding management services to smaller organisations, I have demonstrated expertise in safeguarding and governance, and also in a range of business activities. As a charity trustee, and school governor, alongside my business activities I have a proven track record in strategy development, business planning, risk management, financial planning, fund raising, leadership, and marketing.Having developed my career in teaching and early help services, I progressed into delivering improvement programmes to local authority children's services and local safeguarding boards. Analysing business processes and customer journeys and managing the collaborative development of transformation plans are at the heart of my skillset.Children and vulnerable adults should always be as safe as possible when they are part of our organisations, as should our staff, volunteers and leaders.
