I co-founded Mention Me in 2013. We empower brands to harness the exponential power of fans through referral. Our unique Referral Engineering® approach has delivered more than 4.5m referrals totalling USD $1.5bn in revenue for 450 brands, including Charlotte Tilbury, Farfetch, Nutmeg, Pret a Manger and Puma. We make brands think advocacy-first by turning referral into a strategic acquisition channel that enhances wider marketing activity and the customer experience. This vision is supported by our fast-growing partner network, which includes Emarsys, Ometria, Klaviyo and Trustpilot. Backed by Octopus Ventures and Eight Roads, we’ve raised $32 million in funding since 2018.

I led the UK & Ireland team of 120 people, managing the HomeAway.co.uk and OwnersDirect.co.uk businesses as part of HomeAway Inc. through the successful IPO on the NASDAQ in 2011 for a valuation of over $3B.Home Away was one of the most successful internet companies coming out of the US ten years ago. The company launched in 2005 and raised over $400M in Venture funding and acquired 14 leading holiday lettings companies across the world whilst launching a further four. HomeAway was one of the Wall Street Journal's top three venture-funded companies in 2010 before successfully floating on the Nasdaq in the summer of 2011.

I consulted to clients including the BBC, the Discovery Channel, The Mill (Post-Production) & InterContinental Hotels advising on structuring commercial deals, new product development and company-wide strategy.

I co-founded Wigadoo, an internet start-up in the online travel & leisure and financial services sector, pioneering the Social Purchasing space. I developed the business plan and raised $1M in 2 angel rounds from high-calibre angels. It took 18 months to take Wigadoo from an idea into a user-friendly site and fully functional financial platform. From there he established over 20 partnerships with travel and leisure companies, including major brands (lastminute.com, Merlin, National Theatre) in which they linked from their site to Wigadoo via an API.
