As a Steward at Crystal Palace FC I am responsible for the safety of the spectators, players, staff and match officials on match days. I ensure this by putting everyone in their correct seat, making sure that everyone abides by FA regulations, and also providing excellent customer service.Working as part of a big team I have learned that this role is done better if you get along well with others around you so as then everybody can work together in order to improve and deal with issues efficiently. With this in place, myself and my colleagues have been able to be the most improved team of stewards, catering staff, etc in rank of customer service within the Barclays Premier League.For this to happen, I have undertaken an NVQ in Spectator Safety which has been awarded and certified with many other qualifications like this to come.

During my time at Foreign Exchange Ltd I undertook an apprenticeship in NVQ Sales Level 3 in order to start off my career within the Sales industry. While I was there I developed confidence within my abilities to achieve success. As it was a telesales environment, my telephone manner increased as I gained experience, and making over 150 calls a day I learned how to approach each and every call in different ways and mirror the potential prospect using different sales techniques.My daily responsibilities were to:- Make over 150 calls a day- Build rapport with clients- Bring on 10 new business prospects per day- Organise 3 comparisons of rates of exchange between myself and their current supplier daily- Set in 3 call levels a day of which to contact a client in which they would purchase currency at- Work well within a small team and a competitive environment.
