Energy Specialist SupervisorMost recently, I was provided the opportunity to launch, analyze, and refine the only customer facing Tesla Solar Roof role in the organization. I assisted the earliest reservation holders and was able to add team members to this new role over time. Perfecting SOPs and the customer experience are among the top priorities. Retention Legacy Energy Advisor (RLEA) Supervisor Tesla acquired SolarCity in November of 2016. At that time I took over a team of 12 select team members who went through the full Inside Sales training enabling us to, for the first time, personally assist customers from the time we hear of their needs through the completion of their installation. Historically our teams would assess any roadblocks and put the customer in touch with a select group of top consultants.

RLEA Supervisor | April 2015 - October 2017Becoming RLEA Supervisor was another natural progression wherein KPIs historically and consistently outperformed nearly all conversion and pull through rates across the comparable customer re-engagement strategies. Within this time-frame I oversaw up to four Team Leads with 40-50 team members in the retention model. This retention dynamic of the Legacy department has also been the natural career pathway for entry level individual contributors coming on as Legacy Energy Advisors which was the role I promoted into from canvassing in August 2013.Team Lead | September 2014 - April 2015When I promoted to the Team Lead role within the Legacy department, a major reason was I had spearheaded a role focusing on post-sale customer retention and the team was large enough that it was a natural transition. This role and concept took many forms including the further diversification of customer retention strategies as well as multi-team growth into the role of RLEA Supervisor. Legacy Energy Advisor (LEA) | August 2013 - August 2014SolarCity acquired Paramount Solar in 2013. I had just promoted from a solar canvasser and was excited to interact with customers across the nation via telephone which was a change-up from the face-to-face role I was acclimated to. In the LEA role, I was responsible for upholding certain professionalism and performance standards including a variety of KPIs as well as a the accountability to excel within the company culture.

Solar CanvasserI debuted my sales career as a solar canvasser. My responsibilities included canvassing endless sunny neighborhoods in Northern California informing prospects that going solar in many cases requires no upfront investment and typically results in equal or less expensive electricity than their current cost is. Additionally, getting their utility service provider on the phone and gaining customer consent to access their last twelve months of kWh usage information among other utility information necessary for completing the installation process was an essential part of this job. Eight months of daily acquiring at least two prospects' interest, contact information and accompanying usage history was where the bar was set, and I was one of very few who endured for many years to come.
