About Andy Coxon

Originally from Derby, Andy moved to London to train as an actor. Since graduating he has been very successful and played many roles such as Tony in West Side Story, Berger in Hair, Marius in Les Miserables and more. When working in the original cast of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, Andy met Ed Currie. This is where they created Akt, a plastic free, natural deodorant balm that took the West End by storm - Akt is truly Born To Perform. Tried, tested and approved by West End performers during a hugely successful Kickstarter campaign in 2019.Now, both Ed & Andy are Co-founders/Directors of Akt which officially launched in May 2020. Within 5 months they were named number one in Vogue, won a Harper's BAZAAR Beauty Award 2020 for 'Best Deodorant" and launched in Selfridges Project Earth Campaign.Akt is going from strength to strength and growing rapidly.
