The launch of the Cofunds was achieved in approximately 6 months that required management of resources from 4 investing partners, 3 consulting organisations and a number of newly recruited Cofunds staff.Constructing the IT teamDeveloping a structure, roles and responsibilities and recruiting all the staff that would be the cornerstones for the organisation.Integration of Cofunds Back office (CiSL)Management of the in-source of Cofunds back office operations from M&G (approximate 100 staff).Moving the core infrastructure from 150 transactions per hour to over 2,000Implementation that further stabilised the system, cut cycle times by 400% and complete the Cofunds proposition. During this period the IT development approach was revamped, the staff numbers cut to 51 with the overall productivity of the department remaining constant despite the staff reductions.
