The objective of Taskforce is to improve business performance through knowledge-sharing and the research of topics strategic to the success of the local WSP business. Taskforce is comprised of a team of individuals selected from across all divisions of WSP Group, ensuring a diversity of views and opinion.Throughout the year Taskforce works on projects both individually and as a team through a combination of in-person and online meetings. Taskforce also runs a series of focus groups with both staff and management from a variety of offices to gain input into the selected projects and insight into the business across the region. At the end of the year, Taskforce has the opportunity to present their findings in front of their key stakeholders.

- Design HVAC, Plumbing, Solar Water Heating and Fire Protection systems for various large-scale commercial, military, and government projects; including airports, military installations, office buildings, universities, colleges and healthcare facilities- Implement energy and water savings for LEED certified buildings by utilizing energy-efficient HVAC systems, water-saving plumbing fixtures and solar water heating- HVAC system design experience consists of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, chilled water systems, DX split systems and water source heat pump systems- Utilize Autodesk AutoCAD MEP 2011 and Autodesk Revit MEP 2011 software for design drafting- Design projects include: PJKK Honolulu Federal Building and Hilo Federal Building renovations, NASA Infrared Telescope Facility at Mauna Kea, University of Hawaii West Oahu, Windward Community College, Hale Pawa’a medical building, HNL International Airport interisland terminal extension and NAVFAC solar water heating upgrade projects including 23 various buildings

- Draft and design project plans while coordinating with multiple teams of engineers to model Mechanical (HVAC), Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection (MEP / FP) systems for many unique commercial, sports, hospitality, government, retail, utilities and educational buildings located in the Orlando area- Provide our clients with LEED certified building projects which include sustainable construction practices and elements that are energy efficient, clean and eco-friendly- Utilize AutoCAD 2008 drafting software and analyze buildings with the use of TRACE 700 while applying ASHRAE, SMACNA, IESNA, USGBC and NFPA standards throughout the design process- Design projects include but are not limited to Orlando Events Center Arena, Winter Garden Community Center, Orlando Magic Recreation Centers, Orange County Sheriff’s Office, Orlando Fire Department Station No. 1, Orange County Utilities Building and Orlando International Airport upgrades
