A seasoned architect and designer by trade, Andy Tran swiftly transitioned from crafting structures to constructing successful enterprises in the private equity space.By the age of 18, he had begun working in the building industry and swiftly rose to being at the architectural helm of intricate development ventures in Washington, DC, with DMPED’s Parcel 42 being a notable feather in his cap.Evolving from tangible constructions to the digital realm, Andy marked his presence with the sale of a pioneering tech startup centered on social media e-commerce analytics and consumer behavior to a Fortune 100 company. This strategic sale of IP and early access to capital led to the inception of The Muddy Group, a digital powerhouse, and its government-aligned counterpart, The K Group, with a clientele roster boasting the likes of the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security. In his mid-20’s, Andy further diversified into custom munitions and weapon systems manufacturing seeing opportunity within both consumer and professional market segments. Andy took his entrepreneurial skills to launch a waterfowl ammunition brand, Migra Ammunitions, from 0 to 1. His latest venture notably includes a spirits conglomerate, La Caza Group Holdings, an agave-based brand and company developing tequila and other assets within the spirits industry.His entrepreneurial portfolio is as varied as his personal pursuits. From stepping into the MMA cage to scaling the peaks of Patagonia and running the Amazonian River in an armored jetboat hunting narco submarines, Andy’s adventures have always informed and enhanced his business acumen.Today, as the Founding and Managing Partner of Arthur Street Ventures, Andy spearheads efforts in sectors spanning from defense to cannabidiol focused on high-risk / regulated commodities and technologies and hardware surrounding the military-industrial complex. An alumnus of The Catholic University of America, he holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Architecture and Real Estate Development. In 2022, Andy formed the Tran Family Foundation to deploy strategic funds into causes that he holds dear such as entrepreneurship, immigration and refugee relief, and resources to impoverished families in need. Beyond his business endeavors, Andy actively contributes as an advisor and board member to several institutions, companies, and non-profits, including his alma mater’s Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship (Busch School of Business) and the Eco Defense Group.
