Responsible for delivery of the transition from RSA EnVision to Security Analytics and on going development of the analytics capabilities.

Responsible for Firewall review and audit to PCI compliance, implementation of Skybox View Firewall Assurance and Network Assurance.Design and Implementation Technical Lead for RSA Security Analytics.

In this role I act as a technical security consultant to the business advising on solutions to help the business meet compliance and risk-based security objectives. Increasingly this involves the use of cloud and virtualization technologies and understanding how to apply security controls in highly virtualized environments. I have also worked on a number of projects supporting the integration of various acquisitions of EMCs, working to ensure their security and IT systems were compliant and compatible with EMC's as part of the integration process.

I worked in a number of positions for RSA, initially covering both pre- and post- sales support as well as internal IT support. From 1997 I was the technical lead for the EMEA IT organisation, and delivered a number of significant projects including:* Migration of email from cc:Mail to Exchange 5.0 and subsequent upgrades to 5.5 and 2000.* Global rollout of Windows NT4.0 and Windows 2000 Active Directory* Rollout of Frame Relay WAN and subsequent migration to a mixed VPN/MPLS platform* Implemented the first Internet Gateway for the company outside of corporate HQ* Incident response and handling* Installation and support of IDS, RSA Authentication Manager, and other supporting security technologies.

While working at RSA I had an opportunity to run a "spare time" business importing and selling specialist hardware for accessing the onboard computer systems in modern Land Rovers. This was a good opportunity to understand how a business operates from first hand experience as well as expanding a hobby and interest. Increasing competition meant it was not viable to continue without it becoming a full time activity.

During my time at Logica I worked on developing software systems for customers including Yorkshire Water, Ford, and Global Asset Management.
