Andy has 30 years experience in capital markets, primarily as a senior executive or company principal in both institutional and entrepreneurial environments. He brings strong and varied experience in many facets of the industry, with work experience in Canada, the US and the UK.In 2019, on a full-time basis, Andy began leveraging his capital markets experience and passion for technology into investing in fintech and media-tech opportunities in North America and the UK, while providing strategic advice on corporate development and fundraising. Presently, he is Chief Financial Officer at SHWDWN, an entertainment platform dedicated to performing artists, and a strategic advisor to TMC2, the world's most powerful AI media creation platform. Through Summerfield Capital Corp., Andy provides deal structuring and investment banking advisory services to capital markets participants in North America and Europe. Example mandates include originating and securing equity and debt and equity financing for companies looking to expand operations, fund working capital, or acquire competitors. Industry specializations include fintech, media (film/TV/music), and non-bank alternative lending.Andy has held senior roles with the private debt groups at Next Edge Capital Corporation and Integrated Asset Management, and was a top leader with the Receivables Funding Group at Wells Fargo Capital Finance, operating as a subject matter expert across North America. Prior to this, Andy co-founded Efficient Capital Corporation, an innovative securitization boutique that counted one of Canada's largest pension funds as a major shareholder and institutional funder.
