After growing the UK training team from 1 to 7, I expanded our capabilities into France, Spain, Italy and (after a merger) Germany. I only left this position when I executed a business plan and took the UK training team to form CommsLearning, a strategic move that benefited all concerned.

Interfacing with both internal & external customers, I set up a UK "Sales Academy" as well as created regular "public" training schedules to meet the demands of the Industry.

Starting alone in the UK training department, I interfaced with the USA team to created a modular suite of technology and product training modules as well as a program for new-starters.

This involved my training TDM and ATM backbone technologies and multiplexing equipment, along with legacy protocols such as X.25.

Installed & maintained Global customer communications networks in London

After completeing the formal 3 year apprenticeship, I specialized in Data Communications and worked with the Installation and maintenance team for customer equipment. This ranged from Modems to complex multiplexor networks and warranted a whole suite of training to keep up to date. At the same time, I attended a further 2 years at college to gain my BTEC HNC in Electronics and Telecommunications.
