Most of my client service work focused on shaping customer service strategies, improving operating performance, and building institutional capabilities. From 2000 onwards, I founded and built the global Lean Management practice to help companies install management systems and strengthen management capabilities based on lean principles. This practice generated over $3 billion in cumulative revenues between 2013-2017. As a senior leader within the Firm, I led the initiative to modernize the Leadership Development Model used for all consultants globally from their first day through election to Partner. Also, I served on the global Partner Election Committee and championed new "whole person" leadership development programs for Partners.

As a Watson Selection Committee member, I interviewed the nominees from 6-8 schools, reviewed and scored all of the nominees nationally, and met with the committee to select the new Watson Fellows.As a Watson Fellow in 1991-92, I travelled to Pakistan and embedded with French and Afghan NGOs working to restart rural economies and create the conditions for millions of refugees to return home following the Soviet Union’s withdraw from Afghanistan.
