I am a tax partner at Menzies and part of the firm's manufacturing and technology sectors. I specialise in advising and supporting innovative and technology businesses and am responsible for the firm's Innovation and R & D specialism. I am a qualifed Chartered Accountant (2000) and Chartered Tax Advisor (2003) as well as a member of the HLB International UK Innovation team.I work regularly with innovative businesses and entrepreneurs to ensure that they can achieve their goals and minimise their tax exposure through commercially effective tax planning and exploitation of tax reliefs and grants available to them and their investors.

I provide commercially effective tax solutions to mitigate, reduce and manage the tax exposure of privately owned businesses and their shareholders to ensure that entrepreneurs retain the rewards of their hard work.Experience includes disposals of privately owned businesses to both listed and unlisted entities, business acquisitions, business restructurings and management buy outs, tax efficient commercial property acquisitions, remuneration planning, effective employee incentivisation and corporation tax planning.
