Played a key role in formulating and implementing the people strategy behind the roll out of a new ERP capability. This necessitated a TNA across multiple functions and lines of business implicating 4000 end users and 500 Super Users. Experienced at building e-learning using Adobe Captivate, and designing instructor led training interventions. My responsibilities required me to collaborate with external consultants in addition to Domain Experts, HR and the Comms & Engagement team.

Provided an L&D service up to director level which extended to managing training plans and budgets across several functions. Responsibilities included developing competency frameworks, gap planning, eliciting training needs, invoice reconciliation, purchase order raising and accrual reporting. I also designed and delivered training, facilitated workshops and provided coaching services utilising psychometrics and competency-based assessment tools. I assisted in the creation of L&D policies and processes, and in the sourcing of training solutions through partner companies. My work required me to operate at sites throughout the UK.

Delivered CATIA V5 training to designers, engineers and apprentices covering fundamentals and design methodologies. I also designed bespoke sessions around interfaces linking CATIA V5 with PLM systems. My role required me to work with SMEs in developing training materials and become expert in customised functionalities. Other responsibilities included 'at elbow' support and supporting progress review meetings with key stakeholders.

After completing the Nissan graduate scheme I was assigned to the Platform Package & Underbody Design department where I worked closely with teams across Europe and Japan to design and source vehicle trim parts. I later transferred to the Safety & Security team where I was charged with inspecting vehicles for clearance/interference issues, build concerns and ease of maintainability. This involved test track driving, virtual mock-up checks and directing/managing technicians. I also worked in the Project Management Office on an initiative to source vehicle parts from low cost countries. Other roles included periods in the Crash Simulation team, and bench marking competitor vehicles in the Marketability department.

I was primarily responsible for testing engine auxiliary parts fitted to European vehicles. This would entail collaborating with component engineers and using shaker rig, test track and engine dynamometer facilities to assess their vibration/fatigue characteristics. I was also required to produce test reports, run comparison tests, calibrate equipment, instrument/set-up engine rigs, perform destructive/non-destructive failure inspections as well as manage/supervise technicians.

My third year placement during my mechanical engineering degree was to work on the design of bespoke suspension components for high performance race cars including F1. Focusing on shock absorber design, I would work closely with the customer to derive the initial concept before detail design commenced. I would then support the manufacturing, procurement and test teams to ensure the final product was fit for purpose. I supplemented my design work with a period in the damper assembly department to develop my practical skills.
