In 2021 Andy was elected to a third term, in which he is focussed on the post-pandemic economic recovery of Canada's communities through federal investments in innovation, renewable energy, and community infrastructure like housing and transit. Having grown up in Halifax and now as a father raising his daughter here, he is working to help Halifax achieve its full potential to be one of Canada’s most livable cities, and is working to help Canada lead the world in action on climate change. As an activist Member of Parliament, Andy works tirelessly on behalf of his 96,000 constituents on the Halifax peninsula and in Armdale, Spryfield, Herring Cove, Ketch Harbour, Sambro, and all the communities in between.House of Commons page: www.parl.gc.ca/Parliamentarians/en/members/Andy-Fillmore(88325)Open Parliament page: https://openparliament.ca/politicians/andy-fillmore/
