As Vice President, I had responsibility for department P&L, staffing, delivery of consulting services, customer satisfaction, solution development and sales.During my tenure, customer satisfaction surveys consistently scored high marks for service and quality. All customers became reference-able accounts. At the same time, I increased project profitability by increasing the effective hourly billing rate by 38%. In 2008, I was responsible for the booking and recognition of $1.1MM in revenue. In Q1/2009 I was responsible for booking $1.2MM in revenue – the highest Q1 booking in the division’s history – and the recognition of $550K in revenue. In both 2008 and 2009 professional services bookings and recognition accounted for approximately 68% of the division’s revenue.
