I am a software engineer with the larger portion of my experience being focused on front-end development. I always attempt to craft rich, user-centered, design and code. I have worked with small to large operations to create accessible, optimized, scalable, and efficient applications. I am at my best when working with teams to solve problems in a fast-paced environment. In order to do my job better, I spend time in all areas of web design/creation/implementation/deployment/etc to get a better understanding of what it takes to create the best online experience possible.In previous roles, I have managed teams of software engineers, as well as help build out teams to align with the business goals and strategy, including being involved in all aspects of the hiring process. I have onboarded team members and mentored them in various technologies to help them achieve their goals. I've been privy to the budgeting and forecasting for engineering teams. I have also served on advisory boards for technology adoption and helped teams analyze software and product offerings to help guide them towards solutions that meet their needs as well as align with an overall technology strategy. In addition to serving on the board, I have experience putting together business cases for certain technologies or product offerings. Some of the projects I have worked on included using web-based technology to deliver distributed desktop software which presented unique solutions to complex problems. After being involved in projects of that nature, I began to branch out and learn many more aspects of software engineering including becoming more familiar with os-level code, containerized development, cloud-native strategy, dev-ops, etc. Specialties: TypeScript/JavaScript, NodeJS, Svelte/React HTML, CSS, git, npm, aws, k8s, CI/CD
