Task involves the procurement of facilities management contract such as acquiring tender documents from various service providers, evaluating them, going through rounds of negotiating and eventually to the awarding of the contract. Conducted fire warden briefing to all tenants in the malls, educating them on the necessary precaution and procedures in order to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. Assisted in conducting a annual fire drill exercise in collaboration with SCDF for the mall. Attended a SG secure (Jurong) meeting with all major stakeholders in the vicinity such as the Police, SCDF, NTFGH, and other building management team in the area. In conjunction with my final year project (FYP) that focuses on evaluating the fire escape route for occupants in IMM, a BIM model of the building was created to simulate the movement of occupants in the event of an emergency. Fire hazards was also identified through walk-around in the development and ideas on improving the escape plan was proposed to the management and at the end of the dissertation (FYP).
