I've worked in video game quality assurance for nearly two years, half of that time spent as a tester with the other half as a QA Analyst. As a QA Analyst currently on Halo: Infinite, I've owned the area of Build Verification Testing, ensuring our team successfully completes high-level functional checks of nightly builds and escalating any issues or risks to partners and stakeholders. I've also been in charge of twenty-three testers in Milwaukee, ensuring not only is all sprint work being completed, but also ensuring our schedule allows for enough time for ad hoc testing (scripted and unscripted). In charge of twenty-three testers, I've been a trainer for new testers either new to QA or new to the project, while being a mentor to TA3s who are either looking to expand their skills as testers or are preparing for the next step to STE 1/Associate QA Analyst 1.I've worked on three separate projects in QA, two of which were AAA and one being AA. I've also participated in numerous bug bashes and blind playtests for other projects published by Microsoft. In all cases, me and my team provided functional and regression testing, as well as automated testing whenever possible.I studied English language and Russian/German/American literature for ten years, earning my Master of Arts degree in English in May 2023. I taught College Writing I and II for four and a half years, which helped me hone my problem-solving skills, interpersonal communication, and my ability to think critically and creatively.I also have scripting and programming experience, as I'm proficient in Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Express.js, SQL, and React. I hold certificates in C++/Blueprints/UE5 after working through a couple GameDev.TV's courses.
