JustOne is a community based non profit organization that exists to stimulate greater conversation and advocacy about poverty while designing compassionate ideas and initiatives that lead to transformative action.Plan and facilitate local Human Trafficking/ Modern-day Slavery awareness events, learning forums and speaking engagements. Develop and facilitate local Laundry Love Projects. The Laundry Love initiative washes the clothes and bedding of the individual and families living in poverty. Recruit and train local hub team.Collaborate with Kansas City Churches and NGO’s to provide everyday people the opportunity to be a ‘present’ hope in the life of just-one.

• Provide care for and support for men and women that have been recently released from prison.• Collaborate with area organizations and churches to provide housing, employment, drug and alcohol counseling, and other basic needs.• Recruit and train mentors and volunteers for prerelease programs.• Develop and present promotional presentation for fundraising recruiting and advocacy.• Facilitate and teach a weekly re-entry class in the prison that integrates topics such as Bible survey, relationship reconciliation and life skills.• Network with local service providers to give people the best opportunity to succeed and develop communities of care.
