I worked on the annual UK 'Firework Safety Campaign', as an adviser to the publicity branch ensuring that all advertising was in compliance with the department's own message, and as a professional expert for all media interviews.I gave all interviews when the Minister was unavailable, and on occasion would accompany the Minister at publicity launches to address technical matters. I appeared on many national and regional television programmes, radio shows across the country and in national and local press.
