Profile bio

About Andy Hyde

I'm developing ideas for more inclusive decarbonisation and I can help you to do the same. Having advocated for more inclusive services by leading experiential, participative research since 2010, this feels like the most important conversation to be having to progress inclusion right now.I'm an experienced researcher, facilitator, learning designer, project manager and dot joiner. I build networks, spot opportunities, gather information and resources, design methodologies, host conversations and develop creative outputs. I founded Go Upstream in 2017 to highlight the expertise and experience of people who are disabled and disadvantaged when they travel, focussing on the participation of people with dementia. My work doesn’t focus on fixing things, it’s more about building relationships, finding new ways to work together and recognising the value that people can bring to improving design. It aims to bring the right people together to find the best problems to solve in the right order and design more inclusive solutions together.
