West Valley City, Ut

As the service manager I was ultimately responsible for the overall performance of the service department, both in shop and field operations. I was tasked with development of the administrative employees and technicians. During my time as the service manager the service department achieved the first operational green score for the West Valley City branch. I was responsible for all department budgets, process improvements, safety initiatives, customer relationships and business growth.

I spent my time as the service support specialist training and teaching service department employees on company service processes. I audited branch performance at all branches and held training classes to certify service department employees in warranty and service processes. I also worked directly with Cummins Inc on the rollout of the EDS troubleshooting tool used by Cummins to diagnose and troubleshoot Cummins engines.

As a service supervisor I was responsible for the growth and development of customer relationships with our critical accounts. I helped to strengthen and improve relationships with some of our largest fleet customers. I was responsible for all warranty and policy claims for repairs for those customers and built successful working relationships with each of them that helped the branch to double digit growth for four consecutive years.
