In my role as an Assurance partner with EY San Diego, I serve clients ranging from venture capital-backed development stage companies to global public entities, primarily life sciences, consumer products and technology sectors. I have significant experience is assisting clients with SEC filings and registrations, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, debt offerings and registration statements filed in connection with significant acquisitions. From 2011 to 2013 I served as a resident in the EY West Region Professional Practice Group where I acted as a technical accounting resource for other EY professionals. Through this role, I gained in depth experience with complex accounting and auditing matters such as revenue recognition, stock based compensation and business combinations. I worked for the firm in Bern, Switzerland before transferring to San Diego in 2006. I received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Riverside, where I graduated magna cum laude in 2000. I am a certified public accountant licensed to practice in California and a member of the American Institute of CPAs.
