Alongside my full-time career, I also run a second-hand vinyl business, which grew from a passion and hobby to a profitable 'bricks and mortar' shop.I hired and manage one employee who manages the day to day running of the business, allowing me to focus on my career. During the Covid-19 pandemic I have shifted the business model from a high street retailer to online to overcome the restrictions and decline in footfall.

In my role as Channel Partner Manager, I managed and developed a portfolio of over 60 channel partners across the EMEA region; identifying, recruiting and onboarding new partners in strategic markets.I ensure effective product knowledge and updates are delivered to sales, technical and marketing teams amongst the network, and facilitate Channel Partner feedback to continuously improve processes.Highlights include:• Grew the partner network by 30% during the last 3 years, recruiting and onboarding organisations in key markets of UK, Benelux and GCC countries • Recognised as the top-performing Channel Partner Manager across a global business• Host and facilitate the annual global partner conference for c120 attendees, as well as other national events

In this role I provided advice and guidance on identifying and using Learning Technologies in online and distance education. I created engaging courses on Janison Learning Management System for a series of topics, as well as managing departmental projects using the Mahara ePortfolio System for student assessment.

Working on a contract basis, I was hired on a fixed-term contract to develop and facilitate courses in Moodle virtual learning environment, delivering training to adult learners from teaching and training backgrounds.

Working for New Zealand's largest school, I advised on the identification and use of Learning Technologies in online and distance education, including course development processes for LMS.I implemented the training and development programme for Desire2Learn Learning Management System project, created online courses that covered eSafety and eLearning and project managed the students’ Connectivity programme.I was also a speaker at conferences on Connectivity initiatives.

Leading the eLearning development programme, I delivered training to legal professionals in online legal publishing databases. I also developed and managed the social media presence for the organisation.

I product managed the Mahara open source ePortfolio system that is used across New Zealand and the school sector hosted version of Mahara, My Portfolio. I also project managed eLearning and multimedia projects including Agriculture ITO and Ministry of Health.

I advised post-16 educational institutions in the South East on eLearning strategies to improve organisational & learning cultures.Organised and hosted the annual Learning & development conference.
