• Application Test and Verification Engineer tasked to test the Network Management Solution for Defence Information Infrastructure (DII). This is a global IP infrastructure comprising of LAN/WAN/MAN network technologies.
• Develop test plans, scripts, reports and raise defects, using test management tools (Mercury Test Director).
• Application testing activities against DII (F) system design, including installation, configuration and test of: Tivoli Netcool suite (Precision, OMNIbus, Webtop, NfSM/TSOM, Probes, Monitors), McAfee Intrushield.
• Maintain knowledge of contract and requirements, review design to ensure contractual compliance.
• Perform design concept testing and aid design team in research and development of future network management application technologies.

Transferred as part of the sale of Nortel Enterprise into Avaya.Responsible for the end to end Integration of new customer's equipment into Managed Services. This work covers the following technologies, Enterprise, Carrier, and Optical.The following applications are utilized to ensure the smooth integration of this equipment, i.e. Remedy, TTI Netrac, Jira.

• Responsible for the end to end Integration of new customer's equipment into Nortel Managed Services. This work covers the following technologies, Nortel Enterprise, Carrier, and Optical.
• Project manage tasking of team and ensure successful handover of new customers into EMEA & APAC NOCs.
• Work closely with NOC management to define procedures for the smooth handover of new customers.
• Provide 2nd line support to NOCs for all issues related to managed services, ensuring SLAs are met.

• Configuration of various Enterprise products for new customers and sites into managed services.

Responsible for all aspects of OAM/OSS integration for the Wireless Management Systems (WNMS) for various customers, including O2, T-Mobile, and Vodafone. Tasks included new system builds (Solaris 8/9 OS and Applications), configuration, integration testing, software upgrades, acceptance testing and end to end testing.Achieved the following accreditations.

Responsible for the integration and acceptance testing for the C&W Pan European Network rollout. This involved the integration and acceptance of the DCN (Cisco) and Preside Optical NMS system.Achieved my Cisco CCNA accreditation whilst working on this project.Provided integration and acceptance primeship skills for the following product lines; CiscoWorks.

Responsible for NPI (New Product Introduction) of the Nortel Preside NMS portfolio. Worked closely with Design and performed many customer verification office installations / upgrades, integration and acceptance testing.

Acted as the technical prime and provided technical support for the Preside Optical management soltuions (NRM / INM). Also performed onsite customer upgrades, received many accolades for successful customer upgrades.

Worked within the software delevopment team as test engineer for the BT directory assistance system. Main responsibilities included writing code (C programming language), testing of new software upgrades, writing test plans and test cases for new software releases.

Commenced employment as a Test Technician on a wide variety of STC’s product range. Provided technical support to engineers, other departments and customers. Fault find and repair PDH products and switching products (System X) down to component level
