As a Board Member of the North Carolina Specialty Food Association, I am deeply involved in shaping the future of our state's vibrant specialty food industry. In this role, I leverage my extensive experience in specialty food and beverage brand & packaging design to bring a unique perspective to the table.Key Contributions:Strategic Planning: Actively participate in setting the strategic direction for the Association, ensuring we effectively support and promote our members and the broader specialty food community in North Carolina.Industry Advocacy: I serve as an ambassador for the Association, advocating for sustainable practices, innovative packaging solutions, and policies that benefit our diverse and dynamic sector.Networking and Community Engagement: Regularly engage with a wide array of stakeholders, from local artisans to major retailers, fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual growth.Event Participation: I contribute to the planning and execution of key industry events, offering insights on packaging trends, branding, and design aesthetics that resonate in the specialty food market.Education and Mentorship: As part of my commitment to the Association, I also focus on educating and mentoring emerging businesses in effective packaging design and branding strategies, helping them stand out in a competitive market.

As a member of the Specialty Food Association's Industry Working Group: Events I will help improve the event experience and continue to generate ideas that bring value to the SFA members and visitors to the many events held throughout the year.

Worked with events team to help create unique and enriching events for our local AIGA chapter members. Highlights include:- Helping plan and execute AIGA Triad NC's first AIGA Design Fellow Award Event for Kyle Webster- Successfully hosted over 20 events over term- Continued the mission of AIGA Triad NC to encourage growth amongst membership and highlight the great work our region produces

Responsible for overseeing the development of all brand and marketing communications as well as hands on design and illustration.

Create point of purchase materials, brochures, catalogs for stores as well as the creation and development of private label packaging.

Worked as a Graphic Designer making different identities for local Sarasota businesses. Also pre-pressed clients files for offset printing.
