Full responsibility for all programmes including SC21, and led the bid and establishment of the Aerospace, Aviation & Defence KTN

Led the Programme Management and Business Development functions of the largest global independent Engine Controls business. Turnover: $300m pa; Engineering Budget: $60m; Direct, Professional Staff: 50 – additionally responsible for the output of 450 multi-functional staff.• Key senior customer-facing executive (both commercial and military) managed relationships with major organisations such as Airbus, Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, MTU, ITP and Fiat, and established a Business Development team for all new business including aftermarket.• Successfully negotiated major contract with £1bn potential sales over the life of the programme. Influenced the client to accept the bid after resolving quality and delivery issues; negotiated a Risk and Revenue Sharing agreement and presented to the main board.• Generated a $1m profit from new work for an existing client, reversing their assertion that a contractual claim on their part of $8.6m was due as a result of in-service product issues. • Led the Aftermarket Sales team and delivery of its $180m pa sales target.• Successfully negotiated all the production contracts for the Eurojet programme, on behalf of the various established European partner consortia, value $500m.
