Key Responsibilities: • Preparing and organising the visa application materials including application forms, submissions and other relevant documents.• Liaising with clients to collect relevant information and documents required for the application and updating the visa status of clients.• Managing files from beginning to end, organising all documents and evidence and informing clients to provide further evidence if required by the Department of Home Affairs.• Conducting legal research on legislation, regulation and policy, drafting case plans and strategies for clients of different scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:• Preparing visa application forms and submissions for various types of visas including student visas, tourist visas, partner visas, skill visas (including skill assessment), refugee visas and Australian citizenship.• Conducting legal research for the relevant legislation, regulation and policy through LEGEND or other database and advising clients to fulfil the eligibility of the visa condition. • Interviewing clients to collect relevant information and evidence for the visa application and assessing the client’s situation to give potential solutions and avoid risks.• Liaising with clients to collect any further information or documents required for the visa application and update application/appeal status in time.• Coordinating with immigration officials for the visa application and appeal process, drafting submissions and organising evidence.• Preparing conveyancing documents including REIQ contract, letter of advice, and special conditions, and lodging stamp duty form and other relevant documents.• Negotiating terms and conditions of the contract on behalf of clients, updating clients about the transaction status and reminding them of all the due dates.• Reviewing contracts, lease agreements and other relevant documents, and advising clients about their rights and any potential risks.• Preparing property settlement through PEXA workspace and lodge stamp duty assessment through QRO/SRO.• Conducting relevant legal research to identify any potential issues affecting property titles and preparing the memorandum for the transaction.• Liaising with clients, solicitors, real estate agents and other relevant parties involved in the transaction to ensure the proceeding of settlement.Key Highlights: • Visa Checklist: Created checklist for various types of visa (visitor, partner, student and skill visa), improving the efficiency of collecting required information and documents from clients.

Key Responsibilities: • Assisting the senior lawyer to prepare and organise the visa application materials including application forms, submissions and other relevant documents.• Liaising with clients to collect relevant information and documents required for the application and updating the visa status to clients.• Managing files from beginning to end, organising all documents and evidence and informing clients to provide further evidence if required by the Department of Home Affairs.• Attending client meetings and translating for Mandarin-speaking clients, helping them to understand the process of application and advising of potential risks.
