Managed Survey operations for the Highlands County engineering department. Projects included highway design and construction, drainage monitoring and design, and mining operations.

Proper application of survey techniques to provide clients with highly accurate surveys and maps. Provide leadership and training to members of the survey department.

Interpreted plans to create computations. Maintained field notes. Led crew in completion of surveys utilizingstandard survey equipment. Utilized multiple survey and data collection systems. Assisted professional landsurveyors in the measurement or determination of distances, elevations, areas, angles, land boundaries, and otherfeatures of the earth's surface. Conducted extensive construction layout.

Working as a survey crew member, I learned about surveying. I gained a passion for the industry that I retain to this day. Primarily a rodman, I learned about the equipment and the philosophy behind the work we were doing. In my own time, and with the help of my crew members, I learned how to properly use the total station and data collector. On my own, I learned some Autocad basics.
