I’ve co-founded this company along with 2 other partners, with me executing in a CTO role. I’ve helped to build a small team and worked alongside them to build out a feature rich B2B e-commerce marketplace as well as several other digital products to revolutionize the beauty industry and help to guide small beauty salon businesses on their digital transformation. Some of the digital products includes a feature rich appointment system to help them schedule appointments at their salons, a beauty blog to keep up to date on the latest trends, a beauty business directory to help customers find their businesses on search engines, and a website builder to get them started up with a website quickly. We’ve gotten over 500 registered businesses and looking to continue to grow and acquire more users onto our ecosystem of products and tools to support their business needs.

I’ve took on various cross functional management roles throughout my tenure here at Vroom, which helped the company to triple its head count within the Product & Tech part of the organization. When I first joined, I took on managing the Front End team and as we continued to scale to 3x the size, I took on several teams whose focus was on the external facing side for our e-commerce platform, acting as the Engineering Manager making sure the development team are building and delivering quality software features, working alongside our Product and QA teammates. This included instrumenting proper and efficient agile methodologies which helped to make sure the teams are aligned with our company values and delivering value as quick as possible to help our hyper growth company grow as quickly as possible. On top of directly managing the engineers and the projects on the teams, I also led several initiatives that span across all teams for Front End and Back End development such as web development best practices, hiring and onboarding processes, design system and accessibility build out, and many automation projects that helped to streamline manual work and improve efficiency for the Marketing team. I’ve also worked closely with our data analysts and scientists to make sure the data we’re collecting can be streamlined and utilized to produce meaningful insights to continue to empower and grow our business.

I’ve managed multiple teams that consisted of both software engineers and QA engineers on both the platform side as well as the product side. I’ve worked closely with my teams to build out a very robust and scalable framework on top of React/Redux, which allows us to easily create, update and distribute hundreds of single page applications through the web. I was also responsible for hiring, onboarding and mentoring all the members on the team. I also act as the liaison between stakeholders and the development team to make sure all projects had clear requirements and the final product was well tested and delivered on time and per spec. I also manage remote employees, both in the US on the west coast as well as in Belarus. My team also works with contractors from India, which helps with development and QA for our products. I’m a big advocate for making sure my team is well motivated and receives recognition for their outstanding work, which makes the team more collaborative and high performing. I’m also very data driven which helps me to iterate and find the best solution that’s possible. I keep up to date on the latest technology and frameworks and encourage my team to research and vet out new technology and tools that help to advance our applications.

I was responsible for maintaining and developing features to one of the most essential web application for the company that distributes product downloads to end users around the world. I also helped to build out new applications on new tech stacks via micro-service architecture. Lastly, I also got some experience rebuilding our applications via containerization technology, which helped us to migrate to the cloud

I was responsible for maintaining and developing features to various products the company was distributing to end users around the world. I mainly worked on the front-end stack of the various applications, which also included flash applications when they are more popular.

I've worked on a small team to help build out various public facing websites as well as internal facing admin tools with different clients in various industries that the company have won contracts for. Such clients includes Motorola, Sprint, Omnicom, and others.
