About Andy Macgovern

Andy has over 25 years experience in the Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning & Development & Executive Coaching areas. His passion is a singular focus on aligning all Talent activities to an organisation’s top and bottom line performance. During this period he has worked with leaders in Global organisations operating in a number of sectors including manufacturing, security, finance, life sciences, legal and technology. He has lived and worked in the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Philippines, Switzerland, Austria and France and has delivered projects and programs in more than a dozen additional countries. Andy completed an MBA focused on change management, organisational development and innovation and his dissertation “Initial trust formation in the business-to-consumer e-commerce relationship” further expanded his research and thinking on trust as a component of organisational performance. He graduated from Dave Ulrich’s renowned Advanced Strategic Human Resources program at the University of Michigan, has a Certificate in Systemic Team Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaches, is Hogan, EQi and StrengthScope certified and is a previous recipient of the Chief Learning Officer's Gold Innovation award for his work in the learning technology space.Andy has been a part of a PhD research programme for the last 5 years looking into the Meaning of Work and is also a Strategic Advisor to a biotech start-up called WildTech DNA which is developing a revolutionary DNA testing technology to save the 5000 most endangered species on the planet.
