I gained practical general accounting experience as a member of the Do it Best Corp. accounting team. My duties included financial reporting, daily banking, sending wires, ACH payments, and other general accounting tasks.

I assist in quarterly inventory audits of Do it Best Corp. Retail Service Centers as well as perform quarterly inventory price tests. I have also tested corporate expenses invoices to determine whether proper corporate guidelines and regulations were followed.

I took classes to obtain a minor in Information Systems to compliment my accounting education and to have enough credits to take the CPA exam.

I graduated with a Bachelors in Accounting in May 2011.

Filled in for manager of the wire shop, the largest area of the shop, while he was on vacation. I managed about 15 people while he was gone, supervising and helping the workers stay busy. I have performed tasks such as constructing refrigerant hose ends, wire harnesses, scales, and other jobs.

I helped prepare taxes for local citizens.
