Reporting to the Exec Board of this leading UK Group, manufacturing/delivering creative solutions incl. facades, sign schemes, retail interiors, digital display and point-of-sale. Operating from 4 bases in the UK, manufacturing plant/offices in Poland and Design offices in Beirut and Saudi Arabia, responsibilities include:- Full P&L and Operational management across manufacturing, installation, design, procurement, project management, health & safety, quality, estimating and client development departments- Overseeing 5 manufacturing centres/offices across the UK and Europe (8 direct and 290 indirect reports)- Business strategy design, management and delivery- Identifying and leading Business Acquisitions to complement the group, diversification and growth- Lead/develop Senior Management ensuring smooth running of the business and prepare for growth- Key client development/relationship to board level across retail, banking, transport and eventsAchievements: Instrumental in the 500% growth over 8yrs; Acquisition of our main competitor in the signage/branding market; Integrated a manufacturing plant in Poland and Basildon; Acquisition of CGL Systems, the Group’s biggest acquisition; Integrated CGL workforces exploiting synergies and benefits; Developed CGL from a manufacture into a full service Cladding design and installations service, satisfying Group strategy and developing the only company to offer the full service in the UK; Led the successful win of Tesco (£6.5m) and Waitrose (£2m); Led the design/manufacture/installation win for the M74 motorway gantries resulting in the opening of Merson Contract Management to engage in large civil manufacture installations projects incl. the London Olympics; Grew MCM from start up to £4m in 2yrs; Supported the JV with the top signage branding manufacturer/implementer in Saudi Arabia; Led the team and managed the bid process that secured a £15m signage re-branding for Lloyds Banking Group

- P&L and management responsibility of all manufacturing/installation departments (3 facilities & 93 staff)- Driving manufacturing performance using LEAN techniques and process mapping- Design and deliver the optimum layout of the company’s manufacturing/installation facilities- Planning, harmonious and continuous improvement of operations- Implementing, improving and maintaining the companies Quality Management systems and processes- Implementing/up-dating Risk assessments, COSHH Management system and general Health and safety- Completing company performance requirements on time and to the required quality/economic standards- Managing and leading the project management teams on tenders, contracts and complex projects- Managing and leading the design department and prototyping section- Managing all line managers, supervisors, engineers and operators- Coordinating other members of the management team and offer technical support and experience- Ensuring employees comply with company rules, are trained and contribute to the company
