Andy is a passionate and versatile contributor at Open Systems International. He currently serves as a Senior Solutions Consultant in the aftermarket sales group for OSI, and AspenTechnologies business, where his focus is on helping utilities better manage the complex modern grid system with smart software, including SCADA and other related applications. With his engineering, PM, and innovation background, Andy has moved into sales to stimulate further growth and build on his already strong background in the utility real-time grid control systems arena. Andy completed his mechanical engineering degree from Iowa State University in 2015. His early career was focused on control systems for Xcel Energy, in getting gas pipeline data from the field to the control room’s SCADA system. He also carried out roles in program management and innovation. Andy also enjoys spending his free time on personal ventures, with his largest passion being mental health. He has a project called Mental Health Parenting in which his drive is to assist parents in better supporting their loved ones with mental health, specifically young adults. Andy’s relentless drive for growth and success is apparent in his liveliness he brings to work each and every day, with a smile always on his face.
