Award-winning Audio Engineer and Sound Designer with 15+ years of audio and multimedia production experience, harnessing the tremendous power of sound to aid in the storytelling process. Detail-driven project facilitator who’s equally comfortable tackling both creative and business challenges to ensure projects are delivered successfully. I bolster my comprehensive knowledge by actively monitoring current trends and technological developments. My work runs the gamut from independent documentaries, audio branding and broadcast television to audiobooks, promotional videos, multichannel soundscapes and computer interactives. For more than a decade I specialized in interpretive media for exhibitions, and my sonic creations can be heard in museums, national parks, government agencies, educational institutions and non-profits across North America. In May 2023 I earned my M.A. in Audio Technology from American University, finishing with a 4.0 GPA.What's Next? Now that I've completed grad school, I'm seeking new opportunities to leverage my enhanced technical knowledge and considerable experience to drive the art of sound forward. I'm interested in full-time jobs within the creative realms of audio, i.e. post-production, sound design, editing, mixing, or associated areas. Roles involving immersive/spatial audio, while not required, would be a big plus (the technology is fascinating). I enjoy learning from other creatives and sharing my own knowledge, and would welcome the possibility to mentor and oversee junior team members in a company environment that fosters and rewards personal development. I could also be amenable to acoustical and research-related positions. I'm open to in-person and hybrid roles, and I can also work remotely since I have a professional home studio.
