I get excited seeing disparate lives joined together to create communities that transform how we see ourselves, our neighbors and our world. I work with leaders, nonprofits and churches to help them discover how they can make a unique contribution and impact in their local community through reconciliation and placemaking. Central to my work is the inclusion of the most vulnerable into community in such a way that leads to them being no longer vulnerable. I speak often about the reconciler's imagination, community building and placemaking, the role of the church in their neighborhood, design thinking as community building, and hospitality. I also lead design workshops and advise organizations as they are attentive to their neighbors. I am an author and editor of Joining Lives: A Primer in the Ministry of Reconciliation.
