As the EY Los Angeles Office Managing Partner, I lead a dynamic group of 2,500 professionals working across assurance, consulting, tax, strategy and transactions. In my role, I team with fellow EY colleagues to develop and expand EY’s market presence, enhance relationships with local city officials, and engage with the community on social impact initiatives. In addition to my managing partner role, I am a client serving partner with nearly two decades of experience working with high-growth companies and large multinational organizations across the technology, media & entertainment, retail and consumer products, private equity and real estate industries. I have deep fluency in advising companies on optimizing growth opportunities, navigating strategic exits & capital raises, structuring, assessing public company readiness, and implementing risk and compliance initiatives. As the former co-director of the Entrepreneur Of The Year Greater Los Angeles program, I am committed to recognizing, celebrating and connecting the innovators, creators and leaders who are the backbone of our economy. I continue to be a significant champion of the program’s impact in the Los Angeles market. I am also honored to be a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Golden West Chapter, an inclusive community of local chief executives that fosters local and global leadership connections. I am Korean-American and a first-generation college graduate with a Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Washington. As a proud girl dad, I serve on the Board of Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles where I work to bring awareness and opportunities to careers and professions where women are underrepresented. In my role on the Board of Directors for the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce, I am focused on working with LA’s business leaders to elevate the city and advance the city’s economic and social initiatives. I also serve on the Board of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and am passionate about equity and access to the arts for under resourced students. As part of my work with the LA Philharmonic, I dedicate my time and energy to the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles (YOLA), which provides young people with free instruments, intensive music instruction, and opportunities to perform on stages in their communities and around the world.
