Digital Railroad was an early SaaS platform that provided a robust toolset to professional photographers and photo buyers. We rebalanced the global business of photography in the photographer’s favor by streamlining production, delivery, licensing, and metrics for digital assets. I was recruited by founder and angel investors to take drr.net from early vision to market in 8 months, then built distributed technical teams and was instrumental in securing 3 rounds of VC funding, and achieving significant revenue. Grew technology group from 0 to 50 and developed all of DRR's product engineering processes.

Headed product development at this VC-backed BI startup. The Juice platform is an Enterprise class client/server system that brings live data into desktop applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Customers were Fortune 100 Companies in diverse business sectors.

Recruited by founders to run engineering and QA for Exchange Path’s full product suite. Joined the company after senior first-hire developers and gained their respect quickly as a hands-on team leader, then built a world-class development organization without alienating early team members.
