★ Managing the support team both locally and interstate alongside fulfilling the role of application & support engineer.

Responsible for:★ Attracting potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other related products and services.★ Resolving product or service problems by determining the cause; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction; following up to ensure customer satisfaction.★ Preparing service reports by collecting customer information and analysing faulty equipment.★ Preparing solutions by determining and designing system specifications and programming.★ Suggesting software solutions by studying customer needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes, and investigating problem areas.★ Providing technical, application & software support to customers, including training at client sites or in house facilities.★ Updating job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques and automation equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.★ Resolving customer technical issues to high customer satisfaction.★ Attending regular company meetings and communicating technical support issues.

Responsible for:★ Design, wiring and installation of control panels for automated machines.★ Program design and implementation of PLC, HMI, VSD, servo drive and vision systems.★ Electrical system design including drawing and documentation.★ Fault finding electrical equipment.★ Installation and service of electrical equipment, including local and interstate travel.★ Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding design requirements, deadlines, etc.★ Managing jobs and tasks to a high level of workmanship within budget and time constraints.

Responsible for: ★ Generating PLC & HMI control programs for mailing machines and associated modules. ★ Designing electrical control circuits. ★ Producing electrical drawings and documentation. ★ Producing operator and engineering manuals. ★ Liaising with service engineers and technical support to aid in fault finding.

Responsible for: ★ Design of electrical and PLC software modifications to high speed packing machinery. ★ Selection and purchase of relevant parts for modifications. ★ Producing proposals/reports. ★ Electrical maintenance and fault finding. ★ Liaising with technical support to aid in fault finding. ★ Updating electrical drawings and documentation.

Responsible for: ★ Electrical maintenance and fault finding on all plant machinery to component level. ★ Modification of PLC programs and relay logic. ★ Updating machinery from relay to PLC control, including programming the required PLC programs.
