This limited resource was constantly prioritized to allow for realistic live fire and field training across the 3,500-man Brigade. Responsible for interactions relating to government, economics, and elections in the North Babil Province of Iraq. Responsible for coordinating City Council, town hall, and election coordination meetings. Created bilingual presentation materials, newspapers, and information operations materials. Responsible for the management of Commander’s Emergency Response Program and 3 million dollars worth of civic projects for the Iraqi people. Assigned as Task Force Election Officer for the National Referendum and National Parliamentary Election. Assigned as Contracting Officer Representative for 1.2 million dollars worth of Election Force Protection materials for two Task Force’s Areas of Operation.Successfully integrated outside agencies such as Army Corps of Engineers, Civil Affairs team, State Department, and non-governmental agencies such as USAID. Utilized funds from across the board to requisition hospital generators, drinking water projects, primary school renovations and many other projects. As Squadron Elections Officer synchronized efforts of City Council, Interim Election Council of Iraq, Iraqi Army, Iraqi Police, and Coalition Forces for October & December national elections producing sixty and seventy percent voter turn-outs respectively in the North Babil Province of Iraq.

Planned and resourced squad and platoon level training to prepare Soldiers for a deployment to Iraq.
