ChairCablenet Trading Limited May 2016 - Jun 2023Cablenet are one of the UK's largest independent distributors of specialist computer and network cabling systems and components.Appointed chair following an investment by Rcapital. After the sale of its branded structured cabling products division, Cablelines, in November 2017 the business de-geared significantly and focused on its range of ~4,000 own brand products. Revenues grew steadily, gross margins improved and EBITDA margins exceeded 10% in 2022 on revenues of almost £10m.Cablenet was successfully sold to a trade buyer in June 2023.
