I support our structural engineering team while adding value for the client, by performing tasks that do not require a Professional Engineer’s license, but require extensive knowledge of transportation design and construction.Relying on nearly 30 years of detailing, design and construction experience, I have been involved in all stages of projects from study level, through the final punch list. My diverse background in construction document preparation for highway, railway, transit, pedestrian and civil structures enables me to independently take concepts to completed documents. I take pride in my history of efficiently providing clear and highly detailed plans and specifications.The challenge of innovative or complex projects drives my enthusiasm for structural design. I have been involved many local design-build projects; the most recent being a new quarry access interchange near Central City, Colorado. I have also worked on many municipal projects in high traffic areas of Denver, Boulder, and communities along the Front Range, which present tight site constraints and greater consideration for the pedestrian scale impacts. I have prepared plans for pedestrian structures on the University of Colorado Boulder Campus, in historic downtown Golden, and at Mile High Stadium. Large or small, urban or rural, every structure is subject to my passion for detail.As Structural CAD Team Leader, I encourage the same level of quality and detail from the entire team, and focus on providing the tools and guidance necessary for our team to be the best.
