The business was born back in 2008, it has grown organically alongside the change in modern architecture to double height shop fronts and large atria spaces. Working with Architects, Store Designers, Visual Merchandisers, Lighting Specialists and Contractors to understand their operational, health and safety and design restrictions. EcoRIG then develops a range of raise and lower solutions to future proof the maintenance of high level or inaccessible fixtures.Current Roll/StrengthsConsultations: Discuss with the VM teams their display requirements and work with the store development/designers to understand their aesthetical desires, then offer solutions that maximise the creative and commercial potential of their vertical and 3d spaces.Brand Development: Developed the brand logo, strapline and guidelines, marketing material and assisted with design of the website. Design: Provide 3d sketches to support proposals using sketch up.Account Development: Working with numerous blue chip clients to develop ideas and generate new enquiries within the organisation.Innovation: Meet with interior/design teams on a regular basis to present new developments in our product range and put forward concept ideas for consideration on future projects.CPDs: Co-wrote a CPD on the “Benefits of Raise and Lower Technology”.Pitch and Presentations: Design my own pitch and presentation documents and present to small and large groups with varying job roles and seniority (including board level).Review of CAD drawings: Review, measure and mark ups on CAD drawings.Site surveys/meetings: Carry out site surveys and discuss fixing methods, electrical requirements and programme details.Sales: Admittedly not a "hard sell" sales person, I use my product knowledge and industry experience to back up my growing reputation as a trusted advisor within the retail industry

During that time I spent 6 years within the production department, starting as Despatch Manager, then promoted to Fabrication Manager before finishing as assistant to Production Director.During my time in production I assisted in the product and concept development of their successful Fastrack extrusion and display products.In 2005 I moved into the sales team as a Project Consultant, using the skills and knowledge I aquired in my time in production I was able to talk confidently about the products I was selling, I built a good client base and became a trusted advisor which helped me secure repeat business work.Sales achievedYear 1: 250k of new business achieved Year 2: 500k of business achieved
