About Andy Potanin

As the Senior Manager of Cloud Automation at Transact Campus, a billion-dollar FinTech leader, I bring over 10 years of experience in building secure and compliant automation pipelines, and over 20 years of experience in defense services, tech entrepreneurship, and leadership. As an expert in team management, my primary focus is to move software products to the cloud securely and compliantly by utilizing automation. As the founder of UDX, I spearheaded the implementation of autonomous management, enabling the continuous deployment of mission-critical software, which led to groundbreaking achievements in cloud-native ERP development for the Marine Corps Logistics Command, as well as the collaboration with Transact on the development of the world's first cloud-based IDs (Mobile Credential) with Apple Pay integration, where I, personally, meticulously devised a secure automation pipeline that met Apple's rigorous standards.Recently, UDX partnered with the Ukrainian government to develop the first and only DevSecOps Handbook that outlines end-to-end how to create a secure and compliant cloud environment on an enterprise level. We gathered best practices from the: DoD, NIST, DISA, NSA, the FinTech industry, 14 other DevSecOps books, and UDX's 20 years experience in cloud security. We gathered and distilled these best practices into a clear and actionable roadmap that any organization can adopt to enhance their cloud security posture. With this, we are helping the Ukrainian government educate their engineers on how to deploy mission critical software while using automation. In my pursuit of driving technical innovation and fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth, I am always open to exploring opportunities that align with my expertise and passion.
