At The Insight Works, I deliver end to end support to organisations delivering public contracts. As part of a high performing team in a micro SME, my role spans a number of disciplines. Responsible for securing new commercial contracts and delivering customer success by focussing on retention, contract enhancement, experience, acquisition through advocacy and ensuring success - 90% of our income is generated by repeat or retained business. In delivery, I design creative solutions to challenging problems with a people-centred approach. I've designed and secured multi-million pound projects for a range of public and private sector organisations including Local Authorities, Government Departments and major blue chip corporations. A key part of my work over the past 15 years has been creative problem solving, where I have applied innovation practices to overcome significant barriers to success. Highly experienced in ideation techniques, I have helped underperforming projects to achieve contracted KPIs and excel in delivery. More recently, I have specialised in understanding and measuring impact and using the results to influence the way our clients think about every aspect of a service to ensure it meets the needs of the end beneficiary. I have acted as senior consultant on over 100 different projects - with a focus on delighting customers. Every engagement begins in the same way, with the question "What does good look like?", because regardless of the specification there is a human element to everything that is important to understand. By asking that simple question, and keeping the answer at the forefront of the solution, it can shape any piece of work into something colour, depth, personality and intention.

The Innovation School is where we provide you with the innovation tools and techniques you need to suceed. Our business is to help people to learn how to innovate. We work with individuals, teams and organisations to help them understand a range of proven tools and techniques – either via training or consultancy which make innovation stick.

I spent 2.5 years as a project assistant, firstly in the Epicentre (European Programmes Integration Centre), and then for a year at the Universities newly established recruitment agency, the futureworks. I worked on a range of projects including the £2.2m ERDF SME2SME project, supporting companies to improve their export performance.
