DA on a murder case involving shoe sizing and would have been called as an expert witness, if needed.In Jan., 2013 expanded Luke's relationship with USATF in order to allow Team Luke's racing athletes to compete for our new USATF clubs in both the South Texas and Gulf Associations. Will be assisting the local Team Luke's liaisons in the appropriate locations with any paperwork or contact development.In March, 2013 was asked to handle Team Luke's communications for the Dallas store and assist with Team Luke's communications state-wide, in order to maintain a consistent level of contact with all members of Team Luke's, regardless of their store affiliation. This includes: helping maintain Team Luke's Facebook page, identifying racing opportunities, processing the appropriate team entry paperwork for members of Team Luke's competing in a variety of events both locally and nationally, maintaining and processing the appropriate USATF club paperwork and maintaining, tracking and promoting opportunities for Team Luke's athletes to volunteer at local community events.Dec., 2013: Passed in-house Level 3 Footwear Certification after 2 days of testing and evaluation. Additionally, the school record was improved upon in the Girl's 800M, but it was only good enough to qualify for Regionals.Coached the first girl's team in school history at the TAPPS State Cross Country Meet to a 2007 TAPPS 3A Girl's Runner-up finish. The team included a 6th place All-State performance, only second All-State finisher in school history, and two additional top 15 finishers. The Boy's team included two top 25 finishers, which extended a 4 year streak of top finishers and a 6 year streak of team participation.In the spring of 2008, coached a freshman to the Girls 3200M and a senior to the Girls 800M at the TAPPS State Meet (3A), where they finished 7th and 5th respectively.Fall of 2008, included the second straight Girls team at TAPPS State CC and the seventh consecutive year of Boys team participation. Unfortunately, none of our athletes placed despite numerous improvements. Our best performer was a sophomore girl, who placed 25th and ran her 2nd best time of the season and improved her time at State over her freshman year by 16 seconds.

These athletes earned gold medals in Girls 100HH and 300IH (2005), silver medals in Girls Discus (2006) and Boys 3200M (2004) and scored points in the Boys 200M (2001).During a total of 5 cross country seasons, SGCA hosted 4 Invitational Cross Country meets, with the largest being in 2005. The 2005 meet included 30 schools and an estimated 900 athletes. Several schools were last minute entrants due to other meets being cancelled in the wake of Hurricane Rita.In 2003, SGCA sent only the third 5-man team to the TAPPS State Cross Country in school history. Seven years earlier, I had captained the second 5-man team in school history. This team included SGCA's highest ever finisher, 2nd place, but was unable to place in the team standings. This was only the fourth time in school history an SGCA runner was All-State Cross Country, with the previous All-State athletes all competing in the mid-90s.
