I have spent nearly 30% of my life working in local government, and during that time I've aimed to continuously improve the customer experience, service delivery, and the well-being of the community. Throughout my career and life, I’ve been most driven by my desire to help others, which I do through building relationships, sharing my knowledge and experience, and providing exceptional customer service. My passions include solving small and big problems, training all levels of employees, educating the public, maximizing the usage and efficiency of available technology, and leveraging data to understand problems and tell stories. I strongly believe that we should enjoy what we do and have fun while doing it. While working to support City employees and agencies in making government better, I hope to bring humor to all I do and put smiles on people’s faces. I often describe myself as a nerdy lumberjack because in addition to my love of data, technology, and continuous improvement, I enjoy woodworking and home improvement projects. I also love spending time with my family, enjoying the outdoors, and listening to audiobooks while running.
