After becoming President of Ripley Machine in 2015, I have added new pieces of equipment with a focus on new lines of work to open doors for different business opportunites. We also achieved ISO Certification in 2016. The company witnessed drastic growth in 2017 and 2018 and we expect that to continue into the future. Sales increased over 50% from 2016 to 2017. From 2017 to 2018, sales increased by 30%.In 2018 we were honored as one of Modern Machine Shop's Top Shop receipients in the category of business strategies. In March of 2019, Ripley Machine celebrates its 25th anniversary!

In January of 2015, we decided that it was critical for us to achieve ISO certification. For over 20 years we had a basic quality system in place, but we knew that we wanted to take it to the next step. We developed a Quality Management System. Our goal with the implementation of this quality system was for two things. We wanted to better serve our customers and we also wanted to improve the efficiency of our shop's operations. As we work our way through implementation of a quality management system, we are extremely focused on continuous improvement.In July 2016, we had our Stage 1 audit for registration which went very well. In September 2016 we had our Stage 2 registration audit and we received unconditional approval with no nonconformance's. We are now ISO certified!!

Daily Operations Management: This time was spent learning and managing the daily operations of our shop. A lot of my time was spent programming our CNC Lathes, CNC Internal Grinders and Operating our Centerless Bar Grinders. This background enables me to better understand the processes of our shop to help serve our customer.

Proud to serve on the NWPA National Tooling & Machining Association. I am really drawn to the organization because of their focus to develop an interest in manufacturing for the younger generation. The Northwest PA chapter takes this focus to a whole other level. I am excited about this opportunity to serve the local manufacturing community!

Proud to serve on the board for 5&2 Ministry. 5&2 is headquartered out of Clymer, NY. Our mission is,"Fighting childhood hunger in our community, one child at a time". The ministry sends backpacks full of food home with kids in need every weekend so they have food for the weekend. The ministry is making a huge difference in so many lives.If you have any interest in helping out, please reach out and we would appreciate any help that we can get!!

I began my time at my grandfather's shop operating one of our CNC lathes.I was trained to program our CNCs. In order to gain a more diverse knowledge of the shop, I also spend lots of time learning to setup and operate our centerless grinders. One of the key services we provide our customers is precision ground bar stock on a just in time schedule. During my time spent learning to operate our machines, I began to understand the number one goal of my grandfather for our company. This goal is to always do whatever it takes to satisfy the customers needs. I continue to follow the same motto with my management of the company.
