Managed technical and non-technical aspects of the entire IT environment for a 125-person project management organization. Duties included but were not limited to: helpdesk escalations, server deployment and maintenance, IT policy creation, business process creation, staff onboarding, Office 365 management, security incident remediation, scheduled IT maintenance, staff communications from IT.

Responsible for upkeep of on premise infrastructure, cloud operations, furthering ongoing IT projects, and communicating within a location distributed IT team. Additional duties included developing new projects based on upcoming new technologies, ensuring efficiency with current operations, and developing new business processes to work in tandem with other teams within the organization. Successfully architected and deployed multiple in-house projects relating to business success across technical and non-technical teams. Mentored interns through development and deployment of a fully homegrown application. Worked directly with the CIO to manage a company business unit sale in 2019. Constant presence in presenting new ideas or processes to aid in further the organization’s mission.

Client facing, onsite support role that also included strategy discussion, server/backup setup and maintenance, as well as project proposals and execution. Client base ranged from 10-300 user accounts with multiple environments falling under my support. Worked to create and deploy multiple Hyper-V hosts at sites across the country in addition to maintaining an enterprise level environment’s infrastructure. Frequently dealt with C-level executives at assigned clients and when assisting at emergency visits that usually dealt with downed hardware or key network components. Regularly expected to walk into unknown technical situations and quickly identified root causes as well as potential solutions using not only my knowledge, but my company’s resources to ensure issues are resolved thoroughly.
